If you are
losing 2 cents on every good sold, there is no way you can make it back by selling
more. Don’t confuse “loss leaders” with making a loss. Even then I would argue
that you should never make a loss on what you sell. Bare minimum, sell it at
cost price if you are playing the loss leader game.
