Why are you taking it personally?


It’s always personal, especially when it matters.

People who have the drive to make something succeed always take it personally. You name them - freedom fighters, revolutionaries in politics and business, drivers of private and public endevours. They all take it personally. Try attacking their ideas and try telling them not to take it personally. 

“Hey, Steve your iPhone idea sucks! Please don’t take it personally.”
“Hey, Mao this Long March crap, it sucks! Please don’t take it personally.”

Let’s face it, if it doesn’t eat you up it probably doesn’t matter much to you.
Things that matter, we take personally.

What have you been doing?


Some brands are like people who have neglected their health for a long time.

They have been binging on food, incessant smoking, drinking massive amount of alcohol, lack sleep and they don’t ever exercise. Their health suffers and they want the doctor to get them back in good health in two weeks. You know it doesn’t happen that way.
