Do you have the answer?

It’s good to asks questions. It gets you answers. At the very least, it leads you to answers. Better yet if you attempt to answer them yourself, even if you may think it is wrong.

An attempt opens doors to answers. Question is the first step, the attempt to answer is the second step.

What did you create?

Create and do your art. Don’t worry about the naysayers and the detractors. They aren’t creators. They won’t know the process and hence how you feel.

Encourage the copiers. They will push you to better your art. We all start by copying - one way or another knowingly or otherwise. Some copiers eventually become creators.

Most of all keep on creating.

Is it extra?

If doing that extra whatever takes you to where you want to be, bring you up to a level above your competitor, then it is not called extra. You didn’t do extra and you shouldn’t feel too proud about it. What you label as “extra” is really just necessary.

Necessary to bring you up on notch, up your game, beat your competitor. Not extra.
