How much do you have?

“Price is what you pay, value is what you get” – Warren Buffett.

When you don’t have the money, it’s easy to decide. You buy what you can afford.

When you have the money, that’s when the dilemma sets in – do you spend to get the best or do you pay for the cheapest; bearing in mind most times cost isn’t always in dollars and cents.

What is the price?

When has it ever being balanced?

No one ever knows where is the balance; when giving your max effort is enough. How much to push, how much to put in. It’s all gut-feel, it’s all contextual. What is the max that you can give? No one knows the answer and you probably don’t too.

But does it mean you don’t do it?

No, it means you keep pushing in all sorts of scenarios. So that you know yourself better; that is wisdom from experience. Do it enough, you would have an arsenal of scenarios when you can push some more and break new grounds. Hey, isn’t that how records are broken?

Where is that boundary?

Why are you dragging it?

Every entrepreneur will tell you that their internal problems are some of the biggest challenges to overcome. Everyday problems are an every day occurrence.

But the entrepreneur keeps dragging her work up the steep slope. When that fails, she goes behind it and pushes it up.

That’s her work. She may not love the process, but she does it. It’s her duty. What is an entrepreneur’s story if not for her struggles?

Do you have what it takes?

You got to have balls to see things through, but bring along your brains to plan it.

Having the guts to forge ahead also means you got to have good sense to know when to pull back.

The pugilist in you must also be balanced by the philosopher and vice-versa. Charging without thinking gets you killed. Thinking without charging gets you nowhere.

Where could you be?

Did you sell something today?

Love doesn’t make the world go round. It may make your head spin, but it doesn’t make the world go round. Sales make the world go round. Nothing moves until someone sells something.
