Does your CEO know everything?

A CEO Doesn’t Need to Know Everything.

As a principal, I’ve learned CEOs don’t need to be experts in every field. Let’s break it down:

* CEO’s main job is to lead and make strategic decisions.

* Other experts handle marketing, finance, HR, etc.

* A strong team supports the CEO, filling in knowledge gaps.

This distribution of knowledge makes a strong company. Here’s why:

- π——π—Άπ˜ƒπ—²π—Ώπ˜€π—² π—˜π˜…π—½π—²π—Ώπ˜π—Άπ˜€π—²: Each team member brings unique skills.

- Better π——π—²π—°π—Άπ˜€π—Άπ—Όπ—»π˜€: Multiple voices lead to well-rounded strategies.

- Focus: CEOs can focus on big picture without getting bogged down.

So, working for a CEO who doesn’t get marketing isn’t a sign of weakness. It's a sign of strength. It shows they trust their team. It shows they value different perspectives.

Next time you doubt your CEO for not knowing everything, remember this is what makes your job valuable. This is why teamwork matters.

And above all, this is why no one person, including the CEO, needs to carry it all. We’re not alone in this. We’re a collective force.
