The mouse lost its cheese and went elsewhere.
The big tree has no choice when its environment changes. It can’t run away. It digs in, it changes itself to survive and then thrives in its environment. I believe this, I even wrote a short book about it in 2001. My good friend Yee Thong drew the beautiful pictures in it.
That’s how big old trees become big old trees.
If you dig in, you can find happiness. If you dig in, you can grow and you can be better. Seth’s blog entry here reminded me of my old book. Thanks, Seth.
What if you don’t have a choice?
