First stop saying, “I should find work that makes me happy.”
Gosh, it’s
called work for a reason. Which part of work do you not understand?
Pursuing happiness and pursuing work that makes you happy are very different things.
If you find
work that makes you happy? Good for you. Be happy with it. But don’t demand it.
Secondly and
here’s the secret I found (after having lived through the Great Depression and
several world wars), when you stop looking for happiness at work, happiness appears.
