At the end of the day, you are probably just searching for a meaning behind what you do. Whether you are self-employed or working for someone else.
People who extol “it’s just work”, “work is not life”,
and similar quotes just confuse themselves. They end up making themselves
unhappy day-in day-out.
It’s great to find meaningful work. But if you don’t,
perhaps finding meaning in work is the answer you are looking for.
