The lesson of “you
may not get what you want directly but the pursuit of that goal gives you indirect
benefits that serves you for a long time” is well told by other entrepreneurs.
For us, we used
to joke if we traded in our cows for some magic beans. You can see a blog we

After so often being conned into giving away our cows, we grew wiser. Some of the beans did
grow and we would climb up into the heavens in search of the golden eggs. No
golden eggs were to be found; there were none to begin with. But climbing
made us grow muscles and thick skin. Those unfair trades made us wiser. Combine them, we got strong and smart.
It made us
built a rampart around us. I think we will face this crisis confidently. Learn
to love your scars. They are hard won and should be heart worn.
