If all you do at the sales and marketing meeting is to say, “We need to sell this cheaper because Acme Inc is selling cheaper and they are beating us.” If that is all you say, then your company should employ my granny. Selling cheaper, my granny can do. Because that is discounting. Giving a discount and getting the sales is a no brainer.

Selling requires effort, skills and brains. It’s hard work. I know. That’s why you have a job.
