External enemies are easy to determine and fight. They are out there. They disrupt you, they want you dead. Internal enemies are a far different story. They share the same roof, pretend to swear the same oath but they fight you, they disrupt you. They probably want you dead too.
Purging
them cost a lot more than exterminating the external foe. But the cost of
keeping them is suicide.
